During November 2010 on a visit to Broken Hill, NSW to visit Henk's son and family, I decided to photograph the closed mines, these photographs are in use for various other projects, so I decided to use them here as well.
Great photo, Kaylene, and great effects making it look for all the world like a drawing. There is nothing so silent as an old mine but there are probably a thousand tales it could tell.
This is ghostly silent Kaylene...I love all the lines and shapes and the greyscale is perfect...beautiful!
ReplyDeleteCharcoal sketch effect is very nice. stillness of the picture gives a "silence" feel. Very Intresting.
ReplyDeleteWhat a strong statement this makes! I hope everyone will enlarge it to see the fabulous texture you've created.
